Company 04:14
Following the western pass Cutting through these southern plains Driving from one home to the other Leaving behind my sister, my mother Sitting still my mind can fly With the birds up through the trees From up here it's clear to see We are much more than our bodies Gum, She-oak, Conifer, Melaleuca Gum, She-oak, Conifer, Melaleuca Trees keep me company We weren't old but we were tired Disconnect from ourselves Saying one thing but doing another Looking one way but running the other Fortune's good and fame is fine But what we really need is time Time to learn and time to make Time to give back what we take Gum, She-oak, Conifer, Melaleuca Gum, She-oak, Conifer, Melaleuca Trees keep me company Up ahead, it's monochrome Fire she swallowed all the colour Up ahead, it's monochrome Wind tore right through all the flora Gum, She-oak, Conifer, Melaleuca Gum, She-oak, Conifer, Melaleuca Trees keep me company

Standing on the roof of a building In a city we may never come back to We've been living here alone for two days Trying to make a home of somebody else's house While you're reading in bed I go walking I'm looking through windows and half open doors I'm unsure of how to ask you for what I need And so I won't I follow the call of the tower bell, tracing a path that hugs the hill 7/8 is the rhythm that I'm counting but I cant figure out the scale All I want is for you to be here with me All I want is for you to see what I can see
3.
Undertow 03:29
Undertow Just below the surface It is dark and cool You know you should fill your lungs but Something holds down, something holds you down I wish I could give you answers You're not ready to ask All I want to do is hold you, but In this state you're weightless Who you were before is fading fast Living in this way you won't last You can feel the currents but can't let go Something holds down, something holds you down I wish I could be your courage You're not ready to face fear All I want for you is stillness, but In this sate you're restless

Have Her Fill I can see the smoke and ash, the North Wind she is out for the kill Like a hound who’s tasted blood she will never have her fill And widowed men are on their knees praying for rain Because the do not have the strength to face the flames again I can smell the blood and bone the West Wind he brings death to my door Like a hawk whose made his kill, hunting he be forever more

Saltbush and Sand There is a trail that shadows a coastline Distinguished by nothing but saltbush and sand And one lonely house, up on a cliff’s edge Overlooking an island and the orbiting sun And no one really knows of it except for the fishermen Who come from the nearest town to anchor when the tide is in Take me there, when things come undone ‘Caus it’s the only one that hasn’t been sold of moved out of Take me there I was born in the hills, I grew tall among the Eucalypts I went roaming for hours, collecting crystals and wild flowers And when summer rolled around, we would drive from town to town With the promise of salt air, hanging heavy in the heat And we would fight for the first sight of that house on the coastline Just a spec in the distance as we drove over the last peak Take me there when I get confused ‘Cause the smell of the water settles this fever Take me there when nothing makes sense ‘Caus the spray off the rocks reminds of that child And who I still am Take me there

Limitless 03:23
Limitless In this open space, in this quiet place I feel limitless All effort dissolves, all tension resolves And I connect I wanna run, I wanna run Over the rocks and into the water I stop thinking, I start feeling I am whole Doubt disappears, as trust reappears And things make sense I wanna run, I wanna run Over the rocks and into the water I feel strong and I feel strong I wanna run and I wanna to run I wanna run, I wanna run Over the rocks and into the water I'm coming back to me

We Spoke of the Future Mountains in the rearview Heading to the sea Comfortable in silence Just you and me I’ve been getting stronger Hard days getting further apart Since you put your bag down In my room You know where I’ve come from You know how hard I tried to hold on You saw my world collapse You saw me break down and break through You come and go again I’ll try not to hold on Ocean on my right side Driving towards home You on board the ferry And me alone We spoke of the future And the things we’d like to see But you never promised To spend it with me And I can’t control you And why would I ever want to? I love you for who you are Whether you are near or far You come and go again I’ll try not to hold on

Old Pines 02:55
Old Pines Dreaming of dancing up on the hill As daylight is fading Under the old pines Tired and hungry from salt-air and sun So swaying slowly Under the old pines Come to me now, as you did then Lay your head on my breast Under the old pines I’ll stay with you now, until the end Place my hand on your chest Under the old pines

Heartfelt gratitude to our dear friend Nick Huggins for helping us make this record. This experience was one we will never forget. Both his calm and sense of humour helped us work with a collective mind and feel like ourselves in the studio. To Ben TD for his many contributions to these songs and to Anna Laverty for her help with arranging ‘Limitless’.

Thank you to the amazing women who sang on the album Georgia Harvey and Suzie Wylie and to Lara and Betty for helping us feel so at home in Point Lonsdale. To Mary Webb for singing with us when we play live.

Thank you to Arts South Australia for their monetary support of this project and to George Swallow for encouraging us in our coming together as a band and providing a platform on which to share our music.

Thanks to Trops, Lucy, Lauren, Leah, William, Julia and Sjaida for the feedback and continual support behind the scenes and to Trops and Matthew for their help with the cover art. To Tash McCammon for the magical photographs.
